Objectives
The 7th Conference on Telecommunications, Conftele 2009
will be held in the beautiful setting of Europarque (Santa Maria da Feira), about
a 35-minute drive from the Aveiro site of IT.
The Conference constitutes an international forum for the exchange of information
among universities, research units, service providers, operators and manufacturers,
on recent technical issues in telecommunications.
Format
The Conference includes, among other things, plenary sessions
with invited keynote speakers, parallel thematic sessions (including oral and poster
presentations) and a panel discussion. All technical activities
will be held in English.
The technical program committee invites the submission of original,
unpublished technical papers in (but not limited to) the following list of topics:
- Antennas, Microwaves and Radiowave Propagation
- Electronics for Telecommunications
- Information Security
- Instrumentation and Measurements
- Materials and Devices
- Mobile and Wireless Communications
- Multimedia Technologies and Applications
- Networking
- Optical Communications Systems
- Power Systems for Telecommunications
- Quantum Effects in Information and Transmission
- Services and Applications
- Signal Processing
Suggestions for invited talks are also welcome.
Submission of Papers
All contributions must be electronically submitted as 4-page full papers in PDF
format according to the template to be provided shortly. At least one of the authors
of accepted papers must be registered by April 1, 2009.
