RF Energy Harvesting Devices
In the context of the CREaTION (EXCL/EEI-TEL/0067/2012) project, contributions will be given in the development of innovative circuits for electromagnetic energy harvesting. A five-stage Dickson voltage multiplier prototype with no match impedance has already been conceived and presented in the IEEE 24th Annual International Symposium on Personal, Indoor, and Mobile Radio Communications Conference.
Future work on the development of harvesting devices, includes, a match impedance circuit by means of stubs, where they can be terminated by a short or an open circuit, as well as, improving the process of manufacturing the printed circuit boards, enabling to reach values for the conversion efficiency closer to the ones obtained by means of simulation.
