Daniel Malafaia was born in 1989 and he is from Aveiro. In 2012, he received the Master degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from University of Aveiro with a dissertation entitled “Real Time Front-end for Cognitive Radio Inspired by the Human Cochlea”.
Currently, he is a researcher at Instituto de Telecomunicações and a Ph.D. student in MAP-tele Doctoral Program in Telecommunications. His main research interests include software defined radio, digital signal processing, spectrum sensing, signal detection and classification.
