The project
SheepIT is an IoT based system for unattended restriction of animal posture and feeding.
SheepIT allows the use of herds of sheep to make the weeding of sensitive cultures such as vineyards.
SheepIT is disruptive compared to approaches based on field electrification, presenting several advantages, such as:
- Reduced installation costs
- Higher flexibility
- Real-time herd supervision
- Real-tme health monitoring
