10 MHz Reference Input

This BNC(f) connector allows the analyzer to work with an external reference signal.

If a 10 MHz external reference signal is detected at this port, it will be used as the instrument frequency reference as opposed to the internal frequency reference.

The 10 MHz REF lNPUT port has the following characteristics:

  • Input frequency: 10 MHz ± 1ppm, typical

  • Input level: –15 to +20 dBm, typical

  • Input impedance: 200 W, nominal

10 MHz Reference Output

This BNC(f) connector provides a frequency reference signal with the following characteristics:

  • Output frequency: 10 MHz ±10ppm

  • Signal type: sine wave

  • Output level: 10 dBm ±4 dB into 50 ohms

  • Output impedance: 50 ohms

  • Harmonics: < –40 dBc
