Conformance Tests

We performed conformance tests between J-OWAMP (versions 1.0 and 1.2) and the Internet2 group implementation for May 2004 draft proposal of OWAMP, available in http://e2epi.internet2.edu/owamp/.

 

There are two types of  tests (Figure 1). The first one uses the J-OWAMP Session-Sender, Control-Client and Fetch-Client, and the Internet2 Session-Receiver and Server. The second one uses the J-OWAMP Session-Receiver and Server, and the Internet2 Session-Sender, Control-Client and Fetch-Client.

Versions 1.0 and 1.2 of J-OWAMP were successfully tested against version 1.6f of the Internet2 implementation in October 2004 and December 2005, respectively.
