The PGEM project's antenna - a Vertex 9-m Cassegrain antenna for C-band observations.

(In Azores, Portugal, before shipping - Dec. 2005).

The site: Fajão, in the county of Pampilhosa da Serra, Central Portugal. It is a small plateau of 839-meters high surrounded by mountains with a typical altitude of 1000-meters, a "natural screen" configuration to Radio-Interference (mainly mobile phones!).
