Use of this driver also requires that the packages listed below are pre installed. If other IVI drivers are already installed and in use on the target system then it should not be necessary to install these again at this stage.

The driver installation process will detect if the Shared Components are present and will not complete if they are not found.

The IVI Shared Components may be downloaded from the IVI Foundation web site at http://www.ivifoundation.org/. Additionally if the user does not already have a VISA library installed then one may be downloaded from the same location.

The IVI Compliance Package can downloaded from http://www.ni.com/devzone/idnet/. The IVI Compliance Package also contains the IVI Shared Components.
